Bubble Crisis

You are a bubble with 1 MINUTE TO LIVE. Learn about your existence through chatter, or just float around the sky aimlessly.  

This was made for the  Global Game Jam 2025! Shoutout to Sondge and Dryya for so so much of this game. I did the writing + dialogue integration, but all the art and coding and music is their doing.  

The theme of the game jam was ‘bubbles,’ and while most teams took that as a metaphor, or created underwater settings, we took it super literally. You play as a bubble who has 2 minutes to live, and flies around the endless sky while  speaking to the player, who blew the bubble. I led the narrative design, developing the back and forth between the bubble and the player and implementing it with the Yarn plugin.
